Terms of Service:


Welcome and thank you for considering my photography services. Please take a moment to review the following terms and conditions before booking a session.


1. Booking and Deposits


To secure your session, a non-refundable retainer of 50% of the total package price is required at the time of booking. This deposit will be applied toward your final balance. The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before the scheduled session date.


This deposit will be credited toward the total cost of your session, including all photos and shoots.


Deposits/Retainers are non-refundable if the client cancels or reschedules within 14 days of the scheduled shoot.


If the photographer needs to cancel or reschedule, the deposit will be refunded, or a new date will be offered at no additional charge.


2. Packages and Pricing


I offer a variety of photography packages to suit your needs. Prices are listed in Pricing!


3. Additional Charges


Extra Images: $40 per additional image (digitally edited and delivered) or $25 per additional image (unedited and delivered)


Prints: Prices for prints vary based on size and material. Contact for a custom quote. Prints are unavailable at this time outside of the Houston Area


Travel Fees: Travel fees may apply for locations outside of the Houston area. This will be discussed and agreed upon before booking.


4. Image Delivery and Rights


Editing: All images will be edited in my signature style. Extensive retouching may incur an additional fee.


Delivery: Images will be delivered via an online gallery within 3 weeks of the shoot date.


Usage Rights: All images are for personal use unless otherwise specified in the contract. Commercial usage may require additional licensing.


5. Cancellation and Rescheduling


Client Cancellations: The retainer is non-refundable if the client cancels or reschedules within 14 days of the shoot. If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 30 days’ notice to avoid losing the deposit.


Photographer Cancellations: If I need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, I will offer a full refund of the deposit or work to find an alternative date that works for both parties.


6. Liability


While I take every measure to ensure the safety of your images and preserve the quality of your session, I am not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage during the shoot.


Compass Gallery is in cooperation with Northstar Editing for all post-production editing services related to photography. Please note the following:


Liability: Compass Gallery holds no liability for any damages, injuries, or losses incurred during the editing process provided by Northstar Editing. Northstar Editing is solely responsible for all editing and post-production services.


Services Provided: Compass Gallery facilitates the collaboration with Northstar Editing, but all editing, retouching, and post-production work are handled directly by Northstar Editing. Any changes to pricing, scheduling, or services related to editing will be discussed and agreed upon between the client and Northstar Editing.


Ownership of Work: All edited images produced by Northstar Editing remain the property of the client once delivered. Compass Gallery is not responsible for the storage, usage, or distribution of any images after the editing process is complete.


Indemnification: By engaging with Northstar Editing's services through Compass Gallery, the client agrees to hold Compass Gallery harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the editing process, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or misuse of images.
